I first heard of this group on a Tuesday CBS News report. I guess now that they have show the CPA their video, maybe the CPA will finally know who they are fighting.

Islamist group claims Iraq bombings

A little known Islamist group with purported links to al-Qaeda claimed responsibility for the twin suicide bombs that killed at least 105 in the northern Iraqi Kurdish city of Arbil on Sunday.

In a statement on an Islamist website, the Ansar al-Sunna group said "two of our martyr brothers attacked the two dens of Satan in Arbil".

"Our joy on Eid al-Adha (the Feast of the Sacrifice) was boosted by this attack against the agents of Jews and Christians," the statement said.

It expressed sympathies with the "brothers" of the militant group Ansar al-Islam, which Kurdish political groups have blamed for the attacks and which is suspected of links to Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda network.

It was not possible to independently verify the statement.
