So does it mean he is better suited to defeat Bush because people are only going to look at who is cleaner than whom? Ann, in this election, people are so angry, that they will not tolerate any of the mud slinging. They would want to hear about jobs, health care etc.

So looks (botox) etc. is a non-issue.

Kerry has no negatives worth mentioning and huge positives. The biggest positive of all is that he may be the only man who can beat Bush, who is the most corrupt and inefficient president we have had at least since Nixon, but probably since Hoover. Edwards has yet to be attacked by the right the way they are attacking Kerry now and did last year. Once Edwards endures the severe scrutiny and exaggerated attacks and lies, his negatives would rise too. for one thing, he gets 55% of his money from what they call trial lawyers. Bushies will then blame Edwards for malpractice lawsuits etc. Not fair but just wait. Edwards has had a holiday so far from scrutiny. Kerry is battle-hardened. Dean has gotten the scrutiny and it has destroyed him already.
