The overwhelming majority of the people don't take risk. The most risky thing anyone ever done is probably commit to a 30 year mortgage. Most people work to live, not live to work. It would a joke to ask them to pass over a nice corporate job to be a boutique shop keeper.

By the way, you're a more successful example of your generation so you're hardly the norm. Your success story doesn't apply to 90% of the people living in America.

For generations, mediocre Americans have been able to enjoy a standard of living that's not seen elsewhere in the world. This won't be true for me and the generations to come.
