JDN, A true story about the National Guard. In the small town of Caldwell, Texas, there was an infantry company of the 36th Division National Guard. That company of brave men, hit the beaches of Anzio, and Salerno, in WW2. Out of approximately 160 men, only three of them lived to go home to their wives, and children. No one can, ever, tell me that being in the National Guard is not serving in the military of the U.S.A.
