if true, the dates shown for four days and six days are equilivant to one weekend a month which was the national guard obligation at that time.. most meetings were two day meetings one weekend a month.. many men in the guard missed meetings during this time and would make up meetings with another guard unit or go for special training as one person may have to qualify on a specific piece of equipment. Missed meetings were often due to business conflicts, vacation, sickness only excused by doctor cert., personal reason, wedding perhaps. Paper work was last thing that seemed to ever be current.. many kids working for large corporations were being transferred and often paper work on relocation from a unit in midwest to northeast for example didn't catch up for months.
