It does make a very good sausage. And yes on the steaks. When I am done with a deer I don't have much more then 5/6 lbs of meat to grind. Takes a lot of effort and trimming but frying up those little butterfly steaks in butter with some mushrooms and onions! Taste of heaven:)

Except my cousin. He boned out his last deer and took it to several locker plants and had various things made out of the meat. Brats, salami, summer sausage ...
