No, it establishes that gays have EXACTLY the same rights vis-a-vis marriage as I, a straight man has.

Now, you may say, what about when black men couldn't marry white women? That's different, because black men and white men had very DIFFERENT rights ... the white man could marry her, the black man can.

In in regards to a straight man and a gay man, the "Pool" of people they are permitted to marry is EXACTLY the same.
