Romans 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes. The unbelieving Jews were ENEMIES until 70 AD only futurists carried this way past it's meaning and time of fulfilment. Luther advocated hatred of the Jews based upon that verse. Hebrews 10:13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. Fulfilled in 70 AD - they could see the day approaching Hebrews 10: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. That last verse is misused to promote the idea that formal church attendance is compulsory. That is an insane twisting of what was being taught. The unbelieving Jews would receive the judgement they dared God to take upon them should they be wrong about the guilt of Christ: "His blood be on us and on our children" (Matthew 27:25) .......and so it was upon them to the utmost.
