Oops, I shouldn't have used the word "fabricate", as I didn't mean a fabless manufacturer versus a manufacturer with its own semiconductor IC fabs.

As I knew SNDK and LEXR manufactured products *using* flash memory ICs, I was just expressing surprise to your implication they both manufacturered the ICs too. I'm still skeptical, but haven't time to research it right now. Maybe later.
