'People like me'? Yes indeed, people like you. When you support the mainstreaming of "couples" that are by no means real couples and that are not human in their essence, you overlook the logical basis for our unique recognition of real couples. Since the logic here is overlooked, it cannot be consistently used to forbid other types of couplings. There is just no reason to deny homosexual polygamists of say, ten men, the exact same rights you give to homosexual "couples." There is just no basis at all to do this because you have overlooked the true basis of marriage, which is rooted directly in human biology. Once you overlook the biology, you can't even deny a social recognition of bestiality or nearly anything else. Go on and try. It is utterly futile. Marriage is to you a squashy institution with so little meaning that even groups of men can claim it and you will acknowledge it by law and socially as if it is indeed reflective of your own nature. That is sick. If, as you claim, marriage is not rooted in biology, then it is not attached to parenthood. In your most utterly perverted world, two, three, five, seven men can "marry" and since these married people cannot possibly generate children, you by default accept that marriage and child rearing are unrelated. This is an attitude that will result in more out-of-wedlock births. Non-married couplings are far more fluid than married couplings. You are merely broadening the disaster. The fact is, when a man looks at his son, he sees an honest-to-goodness physical marriage of his wife and himself. That marriage never changes. The biological composition of the boy remains ever his wife and himself. When you and your fellow leftists deny this truth and then pass laws to force an entire society to deny it, you help create a society in which very many children like this boy will suffer terribly.
