I wonder if they will put her regular broker on the stand. If I were on the jury and he testified that he had the conversation Martha claimed -- then it would simply come down to his word against the drug user and I'd take his word and acquit. Governments case is weak or she would be charge with insider trading.

I wonder about the order that Waskal put in to transfer so many shares from his account to his daughters -- over the phone -- seems like the brokerage should have thought of that as weird. Obviously, she was told by the stand-in broker that Waskal was selling ...

Folks who are ready to lynch Martha ought to think about what they'd have done in the same circumstance. What if that's all she knew -- that he was selling??

You have to wonder at the motive of someone like Waskal - why?? How could he figure he wouldn't be found out?? Nutty.
