LOL. You post that interview as if it's the only time Russert ever opened his mouth. Guess what, the guy does a show every week and appears on other shows as a pundit two or three times a week.

Thank you for the correction JF. Here is what Russert said.

"MR. RUSSERT: The right of dissent is one thing, but is there any evidence that you know of that President Bush is a deserter from the United States armed forces?"

I went from memory, and often do. I believe that Jennings did say that there was no basis in fact to support the charge, and since he was never brought up on charges of desertion or convicted of it, I would say the evidence supports my view.

You quivle over minor details and not the issue. Now back to my premise (and the American way) of proving someone is guilty, not proving they are innocent. Where is your proof that President Bush was a deserter?
