How do you explain the fall in the dollar value on the international markets. Is it not the deficit financing that Bush is proposing. What GDP are you talking about. GDP of what production when the production jobs are going overseas and the production numbers show up in those countries' GDP data.

Not only has the US prestige in the world community plummeted under GWB but the dollar continues to slip vs. the Euro too.

Most honest Republicans are rebelling against Bush now, especially for his fiscal recklessness but also because of general dishonesty, hype and pandering. In New Hampshire, many Republicans and most independents went for Kerry. He's picking up much more of the McCain vote than anticipated and that has the White House very worried. Therefore, they will try to run on gay marriage as their big issue. only trouble is, Kerry is against gay marriage, and so is everyone in his campaign. This is the more moderate wing of the party, and strong on defense too.
