The White House has been lying about the deficits, underestimating them by leaving out the war costs and the draining of the Treasury by the tax cuts. It's all Enron accounting. Trust the non-partisan source estimates only. Bush just lied about the Medicare bill onoy costing 400 billion. He also used 12.5 million of taxpayer money to run an ad campaign to sell the bill, and misrepresent what it really is. Another corrupt act. What it really is is a huge pay out to the HMO's and Pharmas after they funded his campaigns heavily.
