Ab-so-lutely. There is NO way they would allow any sort of confab w/o complete presubmission, run-thru with Junior and post-edit authority, "for national security", of course. There is waaaay too much at stake, besides a trillion or so dollars, and the seething desire for many in the country to see jail time for those behind Junior. All any of these guys need to do is say something stupid, like the truth on any of a hundred issues, where they were in the two days before 9/11, etc., and the whistleblowers may have the courage to spill the beans. Senior Bush said a while back an amazing thing, during a short public appearance, "I won't be giving any more interviews". This is iron-clad policy for all the sleazeballs, even foreign nationals like any of the bin-Ladens etc. No unedited interviews. Everything to be completely controlled before air. They are all too close to scandal unparalleled in our history. A big concern is if they do something real stupid and it gets out of control, apparently the plan, per congressional testimony by a mid-level spook a couple years ago, is fomenting national crisis and martial law to shut down the media. They now have the procedures for doing that -- last April the civil defense test on tv for the first time took out ALL channels on our cable, not just the selected ones as before. No crawler at the bottom of the screen saying "this is a civil defense test, had it been a real emergency blah blah". Instead, the screen goes blank, so any video coming from anywhere is stopped. Nice.
