no monopoly on belief.

In other words, the problem with your answer is that it assumes that the
"believer" is automatically Christian. When, in fact, "believers"
come all kinds of variations and, in fact, often believe things
mutually contradictory. A Muslim - just to continue picking
on Muslims - could use the quote you gave just as readily as you.
