You're just talking about tech stocks coming down. That isn't the whole economy by a longshot. Under Clinton 22 million jobs were created and we had the best economy of our lifetimes. If left alone, the Clinton economy would have done a lot better than Bush's has, without the huge debt, lost jobs by the millions and devalued dollar.
It is a terrible price we have paid for Bush's so-called "recovery".

Anyone with common sense can see one policy was right and the other wrong. Unless of course you're an idle multi-millionaire or billionaire living on dividends, then you definitely win under Bush. Everyone else loses.
