Japan has 30,000 estimated homeless which is .023% of the population ....after ten years of contraction.

The US has an estimated 3 million which is 1% of the population.

I work in a city which has an estimated 43,000 drug addicts, enough to fill the baseball stadium on an average night.

Again, in comparison to the US, Japan looks pretty damned good.
