Are you sure that the 500-MHz 0.35um design experience is a real practical guide to current 0.09 and 0.065 challenges? "If you knew anything about the history of Sun or SGI or Netscape you would know this wasn't true." I wouldn't swear to complete accuracy, by in my recollection most technological companies you mention (and Rambus e.g.) were founded by seasoned professors and not by green graduates...
