Parse it any way you wish. Nuance it to death. Max out the
relativism while you are at it.

President Bush never said Iraq was an "imminent threat".
He made it clear that waiting until the threat was
imminent was the wrong approach. Any other view of this is
revisionist history - AKA lying.

Many liberal politicians & major media outlets have
repeatedly claimed that is precisely what Bush said. And
they weren't parsing their words most of the time when
they told their lies.

It's called the Big Lie Abstract. Tell the same lies over
& over & they become reality, regardless of the facts.
