That's ok for us, not ok for them. The ME is full of people who aren't really into laying down their arms and surrendering. Anyone who follows the ME would know that.

Gee, that sounds rather fantastic to me - You shoot a guy without even trying to talk to him first and miss. And he is supposed to lay down his arm and let you shoot again?

That is kind of unfair, don't you think? (Assuming, of course, that the life of an American is not worth more than the life of an Iraqi. I hope we agree on this, at least...)

How about the hypothetical soldier who hypothetically shot the Iraqi guy from a distance although he was not provoked, did not bother to talk to him first, AND did not even shout a warning?

What does he deserve? A pat in the back for having popped another native?

What planet are you from where THAT is OK?
