It will be interesting to see what Rose can do with this one. Did they just get lucky the first time?

If memory serves, Mike and his team were working for Shell, and saw some interesting seismic at Midale in Saskatchewan. Shallow Midale was typical Saskatchewan production -- a few dozen bbl/d. Rose et.al. thought there was good stuff deeper, but couldn't convince Shell. So they left and set up Berkley, and had a huge hit with deep Midale. Given Berkley's less than spectacular ending, and Anadarko's subsequent property dispositions, I always questioned whether this team was a one hit wonder. Duvernay will tell, I suppose.
