Pay for the average newly created job over the last ONE YEAR has fallen by $10,000 (from around $45,000 to around $35,000).

Note: these are means, not medians.

Too many teens feel some jobs are somehow beneath them. One of my first summer jobs in high school was picking up trash at an amusement park. The next summer I was a stock boy at a local market...
