My earlier point was that encouraging students to go into science at college level is already way too late. Students supposed to be encouraged to enjoy science as early as grade school.

I am pleasantly surprised by my daughters 1st grade approach where some of the basics of science are explored in less rigid and more game-like environment. IMHO, it's a good approach...
