I am hoping for a Kerry/Edwards ticket. I see Ann's point, I think Kerry's appearance- but more importantly demeaner, with a sort of downer monolithic voice- is a negative. Kerry's look is not inspiring and after Bush, people want an optimist. This is not a woman thing, its a PR thing, just the facts.

OK but looks aren't everything and Kerry has overcome his shortcomings due to his electability.

I have thought all along that wrt this election, the Iraq outrage would subside a little and be replaced with trade. Dean was the strongest message wrt trade and Edwards #2. Kerry made the war issue his theme although he appears to be coming around on these trade matters. I would feel better about Kerry with an Edwards VP though, Edwards really understands the realities of trade.

I really think democrats will win the white house in 04 and one of the houses of congress. This economy is going to stagnate along here with no real improvement for citizens. Supply side economics just doesn't work in a global environment so there is nothing Bush can do, he just has to sit there and watch the outrage build as these large corps get richer and richer and workers see no improvement and deficits get worse.

As a testimonial to what congress is now thinking about Bush popularity, congress doesn't have the votes to make the Bush tax cuts permanent. They are going to let those lapse. A year ago, the republican congress did everything Bush wanted. Now, he is something of a lame duck thank god. I expect no movement on that immigration plan either. This is what happens when politicians think its going to be a regime change in the WH. They stall on everything.

Oh Boy!

Hillary??????
It has been obvious you're politics are liberal; however, I'm amazed that you would support Hillary. Why?
The only reason she became Sen from NY is because her husband was unfaithful to her with a younger woman & millions of liberal NY females tried to console her with that office.

Chinu, you seem to follow the most blatant political opportunists. Why, is a mystery.

Dear Sir,

You don't mind if I request an explanation of a few matters, do you?

Well, you probably do, but life is tough.

Here's the threadhead. It's yours:
Subject 54583
Now I fail to see anything in there that requires politeness, but if there were, you surely agree this would be a bannable offense, true?

Now there had been some semblance of a reasonable, intelligent discussion on the thread until Bonehead, in her usual inimitable fashion, backed in hind first.

Her's an example. CalculatedRisk and seemed to be doing just fine.

If you have doubts as to the character of BIA, PM me. I will be most happy to provide you with as much evidence as you desire.

Now an exchange of shots followed that post by Bonehead. You actually expect anything different?

Now this post was part of the repartee:
Message 19776964
I'd say that's precisely in the spirit of Boneheads posts that brought reason to screeching halt.

Then, to prove you are a man of reason not subject to snits of partisanship, you ban me- -but not her.

I excitedly await your comments on these matters.

If you dare make any.

Now, frankly, if what I see hear is an example of the sort of governance to be expected of Mr. Kerry, and if the ballot has John Kerry vs. Adolph Hitler, I'm voting for Adolph. I'd say he displays more character.

Brought to you once again by "You Can Run, But You Can't Hide".

Did you have a sex change operation, too, like American Spirit?
