Kay gave the Bushies some cover, claiming it was all an intelligence problem and that he doesn’t think Bush and company manipulated the CIA into delivering what the war hawks wanted. While 70 percent of the nation came to believe - due to Bush propaganda - that there was an Iraq/al qaeda/9-11 connection and that Saddam could deploy ""nukular" missiles in 45 minutes, 80% now believe that the lies about Iraq came ONLY from the WH!!!So Kay can lie for Bush all he wants, but people aren't buying it.

There're still a couple of open slots on Bush's Iraq Intel commission. Maybe he should appoint some of the people who got the intel RIGHT, like Scott Ritter, Mohammed El Baredi and Hans Blix and let them investigate the Rumsfeld's Office of Special Projects.
