Are you able to comprehend that the level of certainty that it takes to SAY that you believe something, is much lower than the level of certainty that is required to ACT when acting means that:

*You will be sending men to their deaths,

*You will be sending men to kill both military and, inevitably, civilian men, women and children as well,

*You will be accepting responsibility for the care, feeding, and security of 20 million people who you don't understand, who are of a different culture and religion and who haven't asked you to occupy their country,

*You will be creating a power vacuum in a country that is seething with religious, ethnic and political discord and, therefor, risking chaos and playing into the hands of fundamentalists and terrorists that are determined to cause you death and destruction,

*You will be staking your nation's credibility and reputation on being "correct" in your "clear and present danger" assertions that you claim are based on certainty, and, finally,

*You will be ignoring the wisdom offered by your own father when, as president, he warned that to have taken the Iraqi capital and removed Saddam would have left America with the risk of a Muslim fundamentalist state and mired in a quagmire that could have eaten up American lives and treasury for years or decades?

Maybe both Clinton and Bush were stupid, wore blinders and were wrong. BEING STUPID IS ONE THING, BETTING THE FARM ON IT, HOWEVER, TAKES STUPID TO THE NEXT LEVEL. I, for one, expect a hell of a lot better judgement from the men who lead this nation and, in fact, the world.

Now tell me again how Clinton's talk justifies George W's foolish actions.
