Peace on earth will come to all if we just follow the light we can hear em shouting now cause Zenda Klaus comes tonight Gene Autry wouldn't have had any trouble in the tropics .... there are ways to deal with everything .... first item you need in a swamp at low degrees of latitude and high degrees of temperature, is a stout pair of gumboots .... very important, they permit you to step on a nest of fire ants for some fraction of a second without losing much flesh or sanity .... but everything can be dealt with, thing about sub-zero is it's dry, no mud, i like that .... one time we had a fallers' camp with one of those Coleman cheapo stoves, log sides halfway up and then tarps for walls and roof, quite temporary and not a tent made for the purpose, just patched together, but it worked well .... we're an adaptable species .... i like the contrasts, mostly lived either in warm places or near the sea, so the mountains and dryness and cold are a treat .... might be a different story trying to work in it, but probably not, you just have to dress and prepare accordingly
