marriage will be destroyed

Marriage was destroyed a long time ago. Witness Brittany and what's-his-name. This might be the last nail in the coffin, but it's not the paradigm shift it's made out to be. It just hits a particularly hot hot-button.

If you list all the attributes and sine qua nons of a good marriage, Tom and Charlie have a better one on almost every criterion that you yourself would stipulate than do most heterosexuals. Half of whom get divorced.

I don't call them the pear by another name.

It amazes me that you think there will be huge, people-felling, revolutionary consequences if gays start having good and ghastly marriages like everybody else.

Birth control made a huge difference to our society, and to the institution of marriage. Some citizens marrying people of the same sex? Please. It's no more than texture.
