I really honestly don't care about what is none of my business. That is a straightforward libertarian attitude. But when two people get married, this new entity IS the business of society in many ways. There is a tradeoff of freedom for other important societal goals, not the least of which is survival. So in a perverse ironic way, homosexuals are demanding that society care about, and pay attention to their relationships. And I would prefer to keep it none of my business.
