We just woke up to four inches of snow and it's still coming down! It is SO gorgeous! I can't remember the last time we had snow. I feel like a little kid. Wonder if I still have boots somewhere- the kind without heels that don't leak. Jingles just came in and he is so pretty. He is a pure black cat, and it looks like someone baked him and sprinkled powdered sugar all over him. Of course, now he is melting all over the carpet. The most striking thing of all is the silence. It is so funny how something unexpected and beautiful can lift your heart.
