Studies show homosexual couples end their relationships sooner than married heterosexual couples do.

It would be interesting to see the heterosexual couples broken out by church vs. civil weddings. The couples that are committed for the long haul for traditional religious reasons surely skew the data, who knows by how much. Also couples with children vs those without. I wonder whether, if you control for those factors, whether there would be any difference.
