Perhaps you didn't notice the "<g>." Or my mention of "half."

Say you provide some treatment to some sub-group, say ten percent of the whole group, and half the treated sub-group does well and half doesn't. That's five percent doing poorly. Then you take that treatment and apply it to the whole group with the same results, you now have fifty five percent doing poorly. I was laughing at the math.
