I think Ray needs to go through a self imposed ban. Doing so, I would hope, would slow him down and he would start to read some of our posts more carefully. He even attacks those who agree with him on some issues.

LOL. Ray will say any misleading thing about his beliefs he feels like saying, if he thinks it will tickle a fancy or two(like, his own). Or so it seems to me.

LIBERTARIANISM --

I swear you have an anal-compulsive obsessive personality. You keep more files on me than I do. What's your aim? You seem to be the perfect police state snitch.

As you well know, there are schisms within the broadly defined "libertarian" movement. While you cite certain examples where I suggest that government has an important role to play in enforcing equity in contracts, you simply disregard the bigger issue of how much government we really need.

I'm a fan of Rep. Ron Paul and the Lew Rockwell school of libertarianism. I hate the fact that American imperialists are stealing our tax dollars and creating a monstrous and terroristic military machine in order to dominate the planet while these same imperialists actively work to destroy the social fabric of the nation and create a vile oligarchy of criminally minded thugs.

Surely we can agree that our nation should not be led by criminals? Right?

And I have concluded that the Bush Team is a criminal cabal, enriching itself by common fraud, lies, disinformation, propaganda and Orwellian distortions. (Something you have a talent for yourself.) <g>

I think it is part of the libertarian tradition to oppose dangerous concentrations of economic, political, police or military power. That's why I'm so adamantly opposed to the neo-cons and the Bush Crime Family. The direction they are leading is toward a oligarchic police state. And as a small "l" libertarian, I'm vehemently opposed to this theft of our freedoms and perogatives to lead our own lives as we see fit.

I stand by my comment that Ayn Randism is a perversion of the notion of basic human freedom. Greed, disguised as individualism, cannot be the basis of a just society. Never has been, never will be.
