Perhapes putting a hole in the desert 100k from anywhere will enrage the locals. Especially when it's those very locals who will get the relatively high paying jobs. Hard currency flowing into an impoverished region and hard currency flowing into poor economy. All these things mean trouble. ;)

Sand lizards, cactus, and wild flowers will be disturbed. These native species (prevelent over millions of sq km) have supported the aboriginals for millennia. Don't put dust into the sky where the eagles fly. Not for hundreds of high paying jobs.

Think it through. If it's not mined this year or next or next or next .... no matter. IMA will own it and it's market cap will go up from here regardless of what , aqi, Chubut liberal cactus huggers, or EC & CC have to say about it.

How stubborn detractors of IMA are! Grasping any and all straws, to disparage the project. As IMA moves up through $5 and then $8, more and more the stubborn will gnash their teeth for there stupid shortsightedness. J M H Opinion.
