Hi electra.Good questions.I think your type of questions should be answered here and included in a FAQ section and posted in the subject post.

I have talked to other traders about this subject in the past and SCOTTRADE scottrade.com is the one that was best for trading Rydex or Profunds.(at that time)
It looks like SCOTTRADE has a 3 p.m EST cut off for Profunds,but 4 p.m EST for Rydex???.

I wouldn't like the 3p.m. EST trade cutoff.

Bottom line,I think its best to go direct with Profunds or Rydex.But I'm pretty sure you could make it work with one of the discount brokers like Scottrade. We need to look into this more and make sure there aren't issues with cut off times,fees,and fund clearing.

I think I'll give Scottrade a call,talk to a human and report back to the thread on it.If you find out anything please let me know as well.
