lorne, I think I read that post from GZ, and there was also one posted by, either GZ, westi, that had a lengthy expose' of Kerry's, so called, military career. The wounds he receive didn't require more than band-aids, and the other medal was given under suspicion of his fellow navy comrades. He used the "three purple hearts" ploy to get out of Nam long before his hitch was up. Then he joined Jane Fonda in all of the protests he could attend, including the march against the White House by anti-war nuts. More of his, dubious, record should be spread all over the media to show what a failure in the military he really was. I was still in Texas when Ben Barnes was Lt. Governor, and he was embroiled in a scandal that caused him to leave the state government, or go to jail. Still, he only avoided that penalty, but dumping all the blame on the Speaker of the House, Gus Mutcher from the town I spent 32 years in. Barnes is a fraud, and so is Kerry.
