This war was about money and power and had nothing to do with principles of self-defense or principles of justice.

I suppose if there's any telling evidence of this it is the clear fact that first act of the US, once it occupied Iraq, was to secure the Iraqi Oil Ministry Building, the only government building that wasn't protected from looting or ransacking.

Not only were Bush's insiders, and their insiders, to become lucratively rewarded (is this happening, or not?) from occupying Iraq, but Bush fully expected voters would want to reelect a president who won two wars for them.
