WaveSeeker,

Re: "I give credit to Howard Dean for simply possessing two balls, rare in this day and age."

That was precisely what attracted me to Dean's candidacy. It was so refreshing to get past the focus-grouped, poll-driven contrived soundbites that infest all the other campaigns. Cojones and honesty. Now there's a combination that America resents. Just like the Athenians forced Socrates to drink hemlock for questioning the conventional wisdom, and Galileo was persecuted for daring to declare that the Earth wasn't the center of the solar system and the universe, Howard Dean will be a pariah because he so infuriates those who perpetuate the mythology of American goodness and honesty while leading us into imperial follies and bankrupting the nation.

The pioneers always get shot in the back, and we can thank Dr. Dean, on his way out John Kerry's metaphorical door, for changing the discourse among the other Democratic candidates and making them much less milquetoast mannikins.
