Alaska is outstandingly beautiful. As much as I love California, it puts us to shame. When we got to Anchorage, I called my mom, and committed the ultimate sacrilege of telling her I found a prettier spot than Yosemite (College Fjord). No kidding, it was so beautiful it made me cry. Hard to get away from the real world. TV on the ship, and I bought an hr. worth of computer time for my daughter.Fortunately, she couldn't use her phone up there, but she talked for 4 hrs. on the 3.5 hr trip home from SFO. WR
