Mannequin or mannikin is acceptable - manniquin isn't.

In addition to the media, Kerry's dirty tricksters are responsible for Dean's early demise. Of course, he didn't help himself too much either...

The voters just didn't vote for Dean. It wasn't the media's fault. In fact the media all but created the Dean phenomenon. Kerry was getting poor media coverage all of last year. They kept calling his campaign "floundering" and asked "What happened to John Kerry?" It was ridiculous. Meanwhile they were championing dean as the Second Coming.

You can't have it both ways. Dean is finally playing nice and getting ready to bow out,. Why people would still send him money I cannot fathom. Maybe they want to make a statement. But the better statement would be to unite to beat Bush. No more Nader type divisions like in 2000.

Hi Ann,

Re: It's manniquins

My lack of retail experience is showing. I swear I checked with Google and One Look Dictionary and they both liked my spelling. <gg>

Re: "I blame media for Dean's early demise. Many of them are 'insider WashDC' characters."

A couple of slimeballs I've lost all respect for are the purportedly "liberal" hosts of CNN's Crossfire, Jim Carville and Paul Begala. Their noses couldn't be any browner on the AOL/Time Warner fascism-in-action team. These two are disgusting excrescences.

Take Carville..... I should have known that he is a traitor to progressives. Hell, the dirty bird is married to Oil Slick Dick's ex-chief of staff, ferchrissakes. Carville really showed his depsicable side when he leveled completely inaccurate and mean-spirited attacks on Howard Dean. I had a hard time believing that this man isn't a card carrying Republican. And Begala? Oy vey. Zero credibility after his recent stunts.

The American public has no friends inside the Beltway.
