I am also hearing that an offensive will be launched in Afghanistan and northern Pakistan sometime this year............probably close to elections. Some people are so cynical about Bush they think the US already has captured Bin Ladin and is saving the announcement for a time when it will benefit Bush the most............an October surprise!!

Nothing would surprise me.

For a week ahead of the interview, the WH had copies of the questions russert would be asking - they knew the issue of AWOL bush would be brought up. Did Bush bring his "proof" of honorable service to his country to MTP? NO. And how hard is it for the president of the US to get anything. Not very! He's a liar and his appearance today with weenie Russert proves that.
