Well, if you remember, some time ago I posted on the SUNW thread a means I felt would be fair to apply to companies relocating offshore (sort of a reverse tax benefit) and no one on SUNW seemed to feel that was a good idea. If you think Kerry or anyone else is going to do anything differently regarding Corporate governance keep on dreaming. Heck, it was under CLINTON that all this greed came into play to begin with. IMHO Kerry would make Clinton look like a PIKER. jdn

The plain fact is that if foreign workers can
do the SAME job for much LESS money, then companies
should be free to tap that labor. No amount of
protectionism is going to help.

The key to success in your career is to develop
key skills and expertise that cannot be easily
duplicated by anyone else in the WORLD.
That takes hard work and continuous improvement
of your skills to stay ahead.

As for your comment: "more jobs than we could handle
in 2000", I have to laugh at that! Most of these "jobs"
were phony to begin with. They disappeared quickly once
the bubble popped.
