how on earth can a consumption-based economy EVER sustain?
why should any competent economist EXPECT it to sustain?
howcome few economists even DISCUSS debt levels?

70% of GDP is consumption
78% of GDP is debt service
consumer debt has doubled since 1990

these facts alone foretell an impossible econ recovery
