I'm sure his mindset is that there is just too much liquidity out there to short anything. Thats what I think, isn't that what you think? Eventually the US economy is going to have to pay the piper. But right now the people in charge are putting out a lot of phony statistics to pump up the "look and feel" of these markets. We're at the end of the line with interest rates etc so it can't go on much longer. But are we going to get a bear market tomorrow? I doubt it, and I am not bullish on US economic prospects here. I think this economy stinks. But reality won't set in until about December if I had to guess. After the election maybe.
