This discussion started with your lame point that HUMINT is harder than it seems. But of course! So I proceeded to show you the consistent pattern of behavior over several decades that show the growing Democratic contempt for our intelligence services that make HUMINT appear even more difficult than it seems. Your only response thus far is to blame America for some of the decisions we made to win the Cold War without relating the battles to the overall war. That's even more lame than the point that you started out with, that HUMINT is harder than it seems.

We allied with a mass murderer like Stalin so that we can win against Hilter in WWII. We allied with other leaders, some unsavory, so that we can win against Stalin and other Communist leaders during the Cold War. I have no problems if we have to ally again with other unsavory leaders to defeat radical Islam. But if you notice, our position in the world has dramatically improved every time we get a POTUS who is willing to examine his soul and make the difficult decisions that withstand the scrutiny of God and History. So it's not as if our patterns of action and inaction occur in a historical vacuum without any impact on the behavior of other systems.
