What about that that bothers you? Is it that someone other than a spouse can get benefits? Or are you just fed up with activist courts. Or just fed up with pressure groups? Or are you afraid that the whole country will become gay? Or what?

This might be of interest - closeted gay men do pretend to be hetero and marry hetero women and raise kids - and they want their wives and kids to get the Social Security, not the boyfriend.

Life is a lot more complicated than it looks like at first glance.
