or something like that. It's become an article of faith in the Religious Right that homosexuality is a "lifestyle choice", part of the liberal "culture of death", and can be reversed if only you're willing to make the effort.

I would hate to be married to someone like that.

As a lawyer handling divorces, etc., I've seen several closeted married people who came out of the closet and got a divorce. Women as well as men.
