Nafta may have been a bad decision in retrospect but it didn't seem that way at the time. And there was no evidence that Nafta was destroying the US labor base, we were creating 350K jobs a month! Anybody who wanted a job in the 90s could get one. Sure some industries like textiles left, I am not denying that. But others popped up in their place. Not like now, the statistics clearly show we have a problem. Every month the fed income tax gets lower and lower, this is massive wage deflation across all industries. Last month we finally created a piddly 112K jobs, 72K of which were retail! Come on this is a mess. So tell me what is your plan to correct the deficit etc. You don't seem to think there is a problem while I do.
