I went to school with a girl whose family had moved from the North. Her dad built the first Ice Rink in Dallas so his daughter would have a place to ice skate. You probably have them in Florida also. I never learned how to do it and can't snow ski either, but I used to water ski.

Well I don't understand why, if you are near Miami, the Fountain Bleu Hotel has a rink. While you skate you can see into the outside pool. Off course I am reporting my experience in 1966 when I attended a national conference of the CYO there.
